Painting Delivered to New Home!!!!!

This commmissioned painting was delivered to its new home recently! What a joy that event was for me! The painting was created over the summer of 2012 (a very hot summer!)...and its new owners LOVE IT!!!!! There was a lot more detail to concern myself with than I expected...but the end result made me very happy!!

This commissioned portrait that I call "Embrace" was created as a birthday gift....my goal was to create a painting with feeling....maintaining the young innocence of the daughter hugging her mother.

SOLD @ St. Jude's Dreamhouse Giveaway in Castle Rock

I was very pleased to receive a phone call from a woman who had been through the Dreamhouse in Castle Rock recently......she "fell in love" with two of my paintings and has purchased both of them!!! I'll attach pictures. The house will be open until Sept. 16th....I hope you'll have an opportunity to go through it. I have 29 paintings throughout the house.

This is a painting that I completed recently.....it's an Empire Colonial house that was totally renovated by the gentleman who commissioned me to do the painting. He did such an outstanding job!!!! It's in the Curtis Park neighborhood of Denver.

I am still working on the skies ..... the clouds continue to change .... these two paintings are 18" x 60" ..... I've been busy with another painting but I'll polish these off soon!!!!!!

"Blue" On the Run!!!!

"Afternoon Moon"

This is the first in a series of downtown Denver that I'm working on.....this is an alley off the 16th Street Mall. It is 18" x 60" and I'm about to take it downstairs and put it in a frame!!!!

National Western Stock Show - Denver

The thrill of seeing the longhorns parading up 17th Street every January convinced me to create this painting......I went to the parade again this year and was not disappointed.......it was still a THRILL!!!!!!
