Pet Portraits

I have been very busy creating dog portraits and also creating two masks for the upcoming "Mask Project" which benefits The Denver Hospice. One is on behalf of Dana Crawford....she pioneered the redevelopment of Denver's historic Larimer Square in the mid l960's. The other one is on behalf of Richard Scharf, President and CEO of the Denver Convention and Visitor's Bureau. The Gallery of Masks opens in the Cherry Creek Shopping Center on April 1, 2010 and the online auction will be unveiled and open for bids April 1 - April 20, 2010 at www.themaskproject.org. Contact me via e-mail if you would like me to create a portrait of your pet!!!(duzart@comcast.net)

I have been making some fun earrings. I paint colorful combinations on linen canvas, glue it to finished leather, embellish some with line drawings and/or stones, put on the wires or studs and voila'!! I have been wearing them myself...they are lightweight and colorful. (You can order a pair for $25.00 plus $5.00 shipping if you so desire. To see the full line that is currently available just drop me an e-mail at duzart@comcast.net. They are all different and delightful!!!!

Longhorns in Parade

For some reason the photograph of the painting did not show up when I originally posted it. Hopefully, it will this time.

"Longhorns in Parade"

The 2010 National Western Stock Show is on the horizon....I sure hope that the weather is warm, sunny and clear for this year's parade. I'd like to get downtown while it's on to snap some new pictures to work from in the coming year!!!!
